"Karima does the best eyebrows. I could not believe. A girl in my class sent me and I was thoroughly pleased. I got my eyebrows threaded for next to nothing. The gas to get there cost more than what I paid. I wanted to tip her an additional $10. Threading not painless, but its worth it. I went in with uneven brows that another salon had messed up. Karima fixed them! I've been compliments everywhere."

"I've only been here once, but I was more than satisfied with my service. I've had the worst possible experiences with Ruby's, Global Mall places, and Hair images, I read one of the previous entries, and figured, why not? (after all the bad customer service I've received what's one more?)

I absolutely LOVED the staff there, they are totally respectful and pleasant, and don't insult you "you have acne, i give wery gud facial... " im sure you know what I'm talking about... believe me, it was packed, and you did not hear uncomfortable negative comments.

I wanted my eyebrows done and so she did my eyebrows without being a nuisance. I have the most sparse/thin eyebrows on earth, theyre probably the biggest challenge for any esthetician. She was very professional, definitely expressed her expert opinion/suggestion, but ultimately left it to me (but she nailed what i wanted done!!) I did NOT have to tell her what to do at all!!! thats a first in my four months living in this state. I am rescuing my mom-in-law and sis-in-law from those other wretched ladies and bringing them to DC's because theyre great!!!! I will definitely go back and update this review."

"This place is every bit as wonderful as it sounds. $4 for eyebrow threading is unheard of in other places I've lived, but on top of that, the ladies are quick, friendly and extremely good at what you do. You leave DC Nails not only looking good, but feeling great. Karimah in particular is my absolute favorite, but unlike many salons, all of the women that work there are wonderful.

They perform many services, but I've only done the eyebrow threading, lip waxing and gotten a facial (or three) and their prices are really unbeatable. The facials have been amazing too.

I highly recommend DC Nails and I can't wait to go back when I visit. They're that good."

"I thought I had hit the jackpot when I discovered (thanks to Yelp) Hair Images. $7 for eyebrow threading, what a steal. Little did I know their was a much better place 5 minutes away...

DC Nail's is a tiny little shop in a plaza off of Church St. Pay only $4 to get your eyebrows threaded. The ladies who work there are warm and friendly and chat with you as they work, making sure your eyebrows are just the way you like them.

Great service, short wait and dirt cheap prices - what more could you ask for?"

"My sister has been going here for years, but I always hated threading...looked too painful. A recent trip to India made me conquer my fear and now I love it. So, I went here yesterday
afternoon as a walk-in. They only charge $4 for eyebrows, which is insanely cheap. They saw me within like 15 mins, and the ladies are extremely nice. You can tell the clients are regulars because the ladies really seem to know them. This place is tucked away next to the Indian grocery, Patel Brothers, and behind Zyka, but the service is quality and the price is phenomenal. I highly recommend it!"
